New Wicked Part 1 Dolls for 2025 Confirmed!

Looks like Mattel has confirmed more new Wicked Part 1 dolls for 2025! And those will be the last new Part 1 dolls for 2025, before we get the new dolls for Wicked: For Good later this year.

This news comes from an Instagram account whom I will not speak the name of, but apparently has ties to the doll industry so they always come out with news from the doll world.

Looks like we are getting new (Walmart exclusive) talking dolls of Elphaba, Glinda, Fiyero, and Madame Morrible (The third MM doll to be released, alongside the Mattel Creations 2-pack and the standalone Walmart exclusive one), as well as a singing Fiyero (second Fiyero doll to be released, alongside the Target exclusive basic doll and the aformentioned talking one). 

In addition, we're also supposed to get dolls of Boq, as well as The Wizard, which will be Amazon and Walmart exclusives respectively, and a Mattel Creations-exclusive collector 2-pack with Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel as the Emerald City Players, AKA the Magical Wise Ones. 

Ironically, the latter will also be coming out with their own Funko Pops later this year.

Both the talking ones, The Wizard, Boq, and Singing Fiyero will retail at $24.99, like the other Wicked dolls available at retail now, while the Emerald City Players will retail at $80.00 on Mattel Creations.

I should also note that the talking Glinda and Elphaba dolls will also have new face sculpts where they smile with teeth, which looks real pretty. Especially Glinda, since I bet the new smiling Ariana sculpt will probably be ten times better than the Spin Master Victorious Cat Valentine face, and I also hope Mattel includes Cynthia Erivo's gap in the new Elphie sculpt.

Honestly, I think the Jeff Goldblum and Ethan Slater dolls would make good additions to my celebrity doll collection, but if I were to add Kristin and Idina to my collection, I might have to cough up my entire savings due to the hefty price tag. Oh well. But I still think they will look fantastic. 

Anyways, the Instagram account also posted the first stock images of the new dolls, as well!
